SUI-09 Miradores del glaciar Aletsch // Aletsch glacier viewpoints

<<< English follows >>> El propósito de esta ruta es subir a los dos miradores más altos que hay sobre el glaciar Aletsch: el mirador de Bettmerhorn y el de Eggishorn. Para ello hemos dejado el coche en el aparcamiento que hay en Fiesch junto al teleférico que sube a Fiescheralp porque será ese teleférico el que usemos al regresar de nuestra ruta. Una vez que hemos aparcado el coche (parking de prepago, 4 SFr por seis horas) hemos ido hasta la estación de tren de Fiesch y hemos cogido el primer tren que pasaba en dirección a Mörel, bajándonos en la estación de Betten Talstation (4,40 SFr por persona). Es curioso ver la espiral que hace el tren sobre sí mismo para perder altitud. En Betten Talstation tomamos el teleférico a Bettmeralp. Allí caminamos hasta las proximidades del lago Bettmer para coger el remonte que nos lleva a Bettmerhorn. Este es el mirador intermedio. Hay un museo interesante sobre el glaciar. Tras haber sacado fotografías, descendemos hasta Bettmeralp de nuevo y desde allí vamos caminando hacia el noreste, hasta Fiescheralp. Nuevo remonte hacia arriba para llegar al mirador más elevado, el Eggishorn. Desde este lugar se puede intentar el ascenso al pico de ese mismo nombre. Tras comer y visitar el mirador, tomamos los dos teleféricos de bajada hasta Fiesch, donde tenemos el coche. La ruta tiene muchos transportes y es aconsejable sacar una tarjeta tipo Hike Pass de un día, que te incluye el tren, los teleféricos y los telecabinas. Los miradores son espectaculares, sobre todo si el día es despejado y puedes ver los montes Eiger, Mönch y el enorme Jungfrau. La única parte de caminata es el trayecto desde Bettmeralp a Fiescheralp. Son 4,1 kilómetros con 228 m desnivel concentrados en la parte inicial. El camino es de tierra, sencillo de caminar. <<< English >>> The purpose of this route is to climb the two highest viewpoints over the Aletsch glacier: the Bettmerhorn viewpoint and the Eggishorn viewpoint. To do this we have left the car in the parking lot that is at Fiesch, next to the cable car that goes up to Fiescheralp because it will be that cable car that we will use when returning from our route. Once we have parked the car (prepaid parking, 4 SFr for six hours) we have gone to the train station of Fiesch and we have taken the first train bound to Mörel, getting off at the station of Betten Talstation (4,40 SFr per person). It is curious to see the spiral that the train makes around itself to lose altitude. At Betten Talstation we take the cable car to Bettmeralp. There we walk to the vicinity of Lake Bettmer to take the mountain lift that takes us to Bettmerhorn. This is the intermediate viewpoint. There is an interesting museum about the glacier. After taking photographs, we descend to Bettmeralp again and from there we walk towards the northeast, until Fiescheralp. New mountain lift up to reach the highest viewpoint, the Eggishorn. From this place you can try the ascent to the peak of the same name. After having lunch and visiting the viewpoint, we take the two cable cars down to Fiesch, where we have the car. The route has many transports and it is advisable to take a one day Hike Pass card, which includes the train, the cable cars and the gondolas. The viewpoints are spectacular, especially if the day is clear and you can see the mountains Eiger, Mönch and the huge Jungfrau. The only part on foot of this trail is from Bettmeralp to Fiescheralp. They are 4.1 kilometers with 228 m height difference concentrated in the initial part. The road is earth, easy to walk.
