Itinerary description
This track is part of the Sultanstrail, a cultural long-distance hiking trail between Vienna and Istanbul. This track follows the Arda river all the way to Kardzhali. It crosses the river first at the spectacular and typically Ottoman, Devils bridge, to be followed by more crossings, including one long suspension bridge over lake Kardzhali near Suhovo, to end at the Dam of this lake, before entering the city of Kardzhali.
