Itinerary description
This track is part of the Sultanstrail, a cultural long-distance hiking trail between Vienna and Istanbul. his track leaves Novi Sad via the notorious fortress of Petrovardin. It follows the right bank of the Danube, lying some 100m higher than the left bank providing splendid views into the Pannonian plane. It passes the historic towns of Sremski Karlovci, Stari Slankamen and Zemun, before ending at the Kalemegdan in Belgrade.
