Itinerary description

This track is part of the Sultanstrail, a cultural long-distance hiking trail between Vienna and Istanbul. This track leaves Smederevo southbound towards Smederevska Palanka, where it passes a little stream called Jasenica. It passes the lovely monastery Koporin and the grave site of the Grand Duke Đorđe Petrović – Karađorđe. It next heads for the village of Markovac, where it crosses the A1-E75 highway, to proceed towards Svilajnac on the opposite site of the Morava river.
