Itinerary description
This hike involves getting up at the crack of dawn to catch the 06:30 train to Benaoján complete with breakfast and a coffee at the station to kick start the day.
The theme for the day was slow and easy taking in the beautiful views and keeping something in the tank for the trek to Obrique from Viillaluenga after lunch.
We arrived in VDR in good time to enjoy a couple of well earned cold beers and some food before proceeding on the final leg of the journey into Obrique although I must say the old roman road was hard on tired legs.
All in all a beautiful hike and well worth the effort.
After a night out until 4am which wasn’t planned but a great finish to the hike though it was a taxi ride to the train station and back home for some well earned rest.
