Itinerary description
A challenging hike, from Refugio De Juanar, to La Concha but, well worth it.
On our way back we extended the route and climbed to the summit of Cerro Lastonar and then followed to the summit of La Cruz De Juanar.
Some caution to be taken in certain points, with sheer edge drops, some chains have been installed on the rocks to assist those edge crossings, then a spectacular ridge crossing awaits you, until you reach the “mirador”, not recommended if you suffer from vertigo, but again it’s subjective.
Just check weather forecast prior to the hike to avoid rain and high winds, ensure to take a minimum of 2.5 liters of water especially when it’s warm, otherwise its recommended route for those seeking a bit of more adventurous hike.
