Itinerary description
ATTENTION! The track of the route starts on the bridge and finishes in the parking, so you must follow it in the opposite direction. The description is fine, though:
With your car, get into Sandvík and you'll see two signs pointing left. Follow this road until you see a sign on your left in faroese (I guess. I made a picture of it) and a farmhouse in the front. The road continues and there are parking spaces up there, but I'm not sure if you are allowed to continue by car. Just in case, I parked there. Then, just follow the road, pass a metal gate and keep going. The road will become unpavimented. Basically, the bridge is on the cliffs on your left.
Keep walking until a U turn (look at the picture). Here comes the hard part, because you have to leave the road and start climbing up the mountain through the grass (I couldn't find any specific place to do it, just walked through). At some point, there's a very narrow path without grass. If you follow it, you'll find a cable. When you find it, you are saved! Just follow it and it will take you to the bridge.
Please, be extremely careful, the bridge has some woods missing and coming back is scarier than go forward because of this.
Anyway, even if you don't go through, it's cool to watch it. If you want to hike more, at the top of the cliffs (before crossing the bridge) there's an amazing view
