Itinerary description
This hike goes to the top of El Agudo, "The Peak". It starts out on a gravel path up in the mountain, and to the foot of El Agudo. Then there is a steep path up to the flat pass on the ridge. The final climbing requires use of hands and feet, but not too bad, as there are natural steps in the mountainside. The peak itself is just on the border between Comunidad Valenciana (Valencia county) and Región de Murcia (Murcia county).
The return from the top goes on the back side and round the mountain.
To the parking: From A-7 take exit 545 onto CV-870 to La Murada. Drive through La Murada and at the end of the town take road CV-872 towards Los Vives, about 5 kms.
From here take a gravel road/ small road to the left about 900 m to the parking, see pictures.
Coordinates parking: N 38º 13.489' W 0º 58.561'
On Google Maps: 38.224865, -0.976083
Depending on the state of the gravel road, it might be wise to park at Los Vives.
There is an app on Wikiloc that can be downloaded to your phone, and this trail can be loaded onto the app, and you will be able to follow the track as you go.
If the distances are in miles, you can choose another language at the bottom of the this page (Swedish, German...) to have metric distances.

From the buildings called Los Vives, follow the muddy road about 900 m to a parking area.
