Itinerary description
WARNING, GPS was flaky and skipped some small parts of the trail. However this is a very nice trail. You start at Mini Hollywood which can be reached by bus from Tabernas. There is a wooden stairway descending into the Rambilla de Genaro there. Then go on to the Arroyo Verdelecho. Past the Arroyo Verdelecho, the part with the Eucalyptus trees is private property. The ruins at 8,4 km are from the movie "El Condor". You have to find your own way around Western Leone (not too hard) because it is fenced off. GPS was flaky here. The part at Loma de la Ventisca is very beautiful with good views over the Cerro Alfaro. The Rambla de Tabernas leads 8km to Tabernas. But it might be possible to take the bus back from Mini Hollywood. Inform in Tabernas about this beforehand.
