Itinerary description
Nice trail but nothing special, however, very beautiful, almost 360 degree view from the top and about half of the trail next to small rivers so that you don’t need to carry up so much water (see my pics and comments regarding water source); as almost everywhere in Kanto and east Yamanashi prefecture up to 900 m altitude you have to walk almost the whole time through cedar monoculture plantations, the first 4 km from Hatsukari Stn. and last 4 km to Sasago Stn. are paved roads

Last chance to get some water before the peak
The sign says that this water is for washing hand what implies that they don’t recommend to drink, however, I have a water filter and wouldn’t mind drinking it after filtering
