Itinerary description
This circular route from Tamaimo is worth undertaking both for the spectacular views and as a good moderate hike. The route follows the Barranco de Santiago towards Santiago Del Teide but branches off close to El Molledo to follow a path around the valley towards Degollada del Roque, passing a maintained Grotto at waypoint for Photo 8 with great views along the way. The decent from the waypoint for Photo 10 should be taken with care as the path is less clear and painted markings for the route have to be looked for. From Degollada del Roque the route wanders below Cruz de Los Misioneros with spectacular views into the Barranco Mancha de Los Díaz. This section of path is easy to follow as it wanders around Guama back down towards Tamaimo. At the junction with the Pr-Tf 65, turn left to return to Tamaimo for well deserved refreshments Tamaimo
