Tapes 2. Tapes -water pipeline- skourdoula-halasa- rizoma-haugoudi-tapes

One of the best area for hiking at municipal of Ayios Nikolaos just half hour from town. Ayios to Lakonia and then 1km after Flamouriana left to Margelion and after that 100m.left to Tapes. From Tapes with many shepherds and unfortunelly tided dogs, by the dirt road to Kastellos peak and then by the path of water pipeline which coming from piyi kinigou and halasa water fountains and going to Ayios Nikolaos under soros peak. Excelent path with view to the side of selena mountain, drasi ,zenia village e.t.c. Then straight up for 150m to skourdoula at 1070m. altitude. Another 130m up and half hour to Halasa,break for fresh cold water from new snow and then another 120m up to koutelo and rizoma water fountain at 1330m altitude. Great places with amazing view.
Another break at rizoma water fountain under oaks and then start the descent.2.15 hours for that with careful in some pieces cause is steep. Is several exits to tapes ,many paths drive to village.From 1050m. aproxx. you can continue through the large dingle or at top of dingle or like we do from the small dingle,the right one named Haugoudi. If is winter i suggest to choose the path going between the 2 gorges,from top of them cause is much humidity in dingle and slips a lot and is a bit dangerous.
Six and half hours for the loop, at least 1 of them is stops.
