Itinerary description
Starting a little way out of Tarifa following dirt roads, then great single track path through woods, upwards to join la Cuesta de las Vacas road, turn right, tried to climb over hill and barbed wire but couldn’t find a proper route, so rejoined road down to the CIMA bird migration center, back down dirt track exploring old military tunnels and gun placements, and steep uphill to join up with the Olivares road where we had parked.
Lovely walk on a very blustery but sunny day near the straights of Gibraltar ! And tea with a friend who lives up there at the end! Perfect! Probably 8 km in the end.
