Itinerary description
* I rated the hike as difficult but its defenitely on the edge to very difficult as you have to overcome 3 rises /peaks on 17,5km *
I started from Blue Ocean Camp with the car to the starting point of the Güigüi Hike. The Güigüi hike is pretty well known and unmissable. It's a really well recognizable path. The 2km up the Hill are pretty steep and tough but doable in under an hour. Once you reach the peak you straight enjoy the view downwards of your first goal - the Playa of Güigüi. It's 3 more km down the Hill and pretty steady and good to do. I would suggest to do a little mountain run in this part as it is pretty sandy and easier to run than to break every step down.
Once you reach the beach its a very good idea to rest for a bit because you have to do 2 more rises.
After the Beach it goes steady, hilly, steady hilly, steady and then peak.
The second peak devides Güigüi and Güigüi Chico and the views you gain up the second time are breathtaking.
As you walk down again you must defenitely mind the Wind on windy days as its getting stronger from now on.
You walk aside the amazing second mountain and down towards another palmtree valley where you keep left After you greeted the lovely lady and her dogs in the casa rural.
Be prepared that you are now facing the third and fortunately last rise. But the last one is really worth the fight as you have one more time a spectacular view. At the top you find many new shapes, colors and a cave!!!
Around the Next corner defenitely take care with the Wind. From now on you walk down down down and all the time pretty steady. Maybe some bit steeper parts to overcome. But compared to what you just managed... Nothing to worry about. Close to your destination you see two more amazing houses. You are nearly there and managed an amazing hike.
Good luck and fun for everybody.
