Itinerary description
Tavertet - Puig de la Forca - Panta de Sau - Tavertet
This walk has it all; spectacular vistas, flowers everywhere, wildlife (a snake, a deer, three piglets, eagle and vultures) , and the possibility to swim in the lake from which arizes the belltower of a submerged church. The descend from the plateau to the lake is quite steep however and the path is not in a very good condition and without clear markings. That is the reason why I wouldn´t classify it as easy. The ascent back to Tavertet is easy and well marked however. I made it on a very hot day but it was ok thanks to the fact that I started early (6:30am) and that a large portion of the walk is shaded.
