Itinerary description
Teide hike. This is a long (exhausting) hike up and down the vulcano (3715m altitude)! In winter it will be very cold at the top. Bring enough clothes. And take enough water and food with you. Please note: you will have to book the entry to the top in advance. I've rated the hike very difficult due to the steep climb (more than 1700m up) and duration (10 hours). We started at around 09:00 and arrived back at the car park around 19:00 (in the dark). If you run out of time you can descend with the cable car.
