Itinerary description
This is a long days walk through rugged country, so a good pair of walking shoes/boots are required. I went along a track away from the PR TF70 at one point where it joined a track at a bend with a gate across it. To follow the PR70, go left here & through the gate and keep a SHARP eye out for the PR70 path (marked yellow/white) on the RIGHT. Instead,I went towards a building up at a junction of tks. It had a barrier saying no passage due to works, but I took a chance and found NO blockage to pick up the PR70 again at another 90 degree bend further along. The Path is well marked and has reassuring Yellow & White STRIPE markers along the way. Yellow/White Cross is the WRONG route...look for the yellow with white below!
At Chirche, I turned left at the bottom of the steep road and carried on down the TF70 to Guia de Isora to the Bus Station, which looked deserted, but buses DO appear.
