Good coastal Walk starting at the CRUZ ROJA building, (RED CROSS), with a fine short ascent up to the Guaza Plateau at Palm Mar.

I attempted this but sadly missed the route around Palm Mar after 2 hours on the mountain. It was well described as moderate which I think would be fair for an averagely fit 50 year old whereas I’m over 70 and in places it was quite tough but I met a couple of mountain bikers up there albeit carrying their bikes! The missed route was actually quite good down into Palm Mar and then back up to return on a more coastal track. Downhill sections more tricky than uphill due to very loose screed. My missed route meant mine was a circular 4 hour route including 15 mins beer time in Palm Mar Sensible shoes a must as is sun protection headwear and water of course.
