Itinerary description
Esta es una ruta corta pero muy bonita ,en la carretera a Chamorga pasado el punto kilométrico 6 veremos las señales es por una carretera forestal sin perdida nos lleva al Mirador Cabezo del Tejo desde ahí tendremos unas vistas de la costa de Anaga increíbles y en días claros veremos el Teide.
Dies ist eine kurze, aber sehr schöne Route, an der Straße nach Chamorga letzte Kilometer 6 die Signale ist sehen, führt ein Forstweg ohne Verlust zu den Mirador Cabezo des Tejo von dort wir haben unglaubliche Aussicht auf die Küste von Anaga und an klaren Tagen sehen den Teide.
This is a short but very nice route, on the road to Chamorga last kilometre 6 will see the signals is a forest road without loss leads to the Mirador Cabezo of the Tejo from there we will have incredible views of the coast of Anaga and on clear days will see the Teide.

On a hot sunny day this easy shady walk down to the viewpoint was very pleasant. Unlike the adjacent footpath through the Pijaral, you don't need a permit for this walk. Only drawback is that because you're walking through the trees you don't get any good views until the Cabezo del Tejo, but the vista from there is truly stunning.
The quoted height difference is definitely wrong though. My wikiloc recording gave an elevation difference of 171m, but I think that's an exaggeration as well. The forest road just drops gradually from around the 820m contour to 740m, and there aren't significant ups and downs on the way, so I would estimate a 100m difference at most.
Just be aware that there's parking for only a couple of cars at the start.
