Itinerary description
This is a new circular footpath around Mt Chinyero, the site of the last, 1909, volcanic eruption on Tenerife. It offers excellent views of the mountain and the lava fields, and the path crosses the lava at one point where one can see the strange shapes sculpted in the lava. The climb up Mt Estrecho enables one to see the lava from above, including the part that flowed to the northwest towards Mt Bilma where it flowed both north and south before stopping after 10 days.
Este sendero circular nuevo rodea el Montaña Chinyero, el sitio de la ultima erupcion volcanico de Tenerife en 1909. Tiene vistas buenas de la montaña y el malpais y un tramo del sendero atraviesa el malpais dondé se puede ver formas estreñas de la lava. La subide de Montaña Estrecho facilita una vista de la lava desde arriba, incluso de la parte que flujó hasta el noroeste a Montaña Bilma de dondé flujó al norte y al sur hasta dejar de flojar después de 10 días.
