Itinerary description
I started this trail at the bus station. From the bus station walk down the hill on the road towards towards fuente de Agria. Continue past Aguas de Teror along the road until you get to the start of the recorded trail where you will turn right down into the Barranco. I started the trail in the early afternoon so the sun was behind me as I followed the path in the barranco. The first part was quite overgrown and so it is recommendable to wear long pants. It is also best to do it when it is dry. After heavy rains the trail will have parts that are big puddles to cross. The terrain is flat in the barranco and then climbs up for a few kilometers to reach Finca Osario. You can do a loop of the Finca and exit out of the old gate which is now open Monday to Friday but not at the weekends. I walked along the road which wasn’t a very long stretch until I arrived at Parque Jose Hernandez and from there there is pavement passing through the residential area all the way back to Teror.

Fortunately if you walk through Finca Osorio the old gates are now open to exit. That way you miss the half a Kim on the road km
