Itinerary description
I started at Teror bus station going down the hill on the road. When you get to the cross go left until you see a parking lot on the left and an intersection where you take a sharp right to Fuente Agria. Turn left and go up 2 sets if stairs and walk on some asphalt road until you reach a sign on the right to the El Alamo trail. It’s easy to miss and I passed it so had to return. From there the path is easy to follow under the bridge and continue into the barranco. I did this trail on a very hot day but the barranco is full of trees and provides lots of shade so it is refreshing. You follow the trail to La Agujerada until you reach the end which has a sign to return to Teror. Walking on asphalt road you soon come to another sign signaling Teror to the left which I took and I would not recommend as it is asphalt all the way to Teror. You have 2 options to return. I believe you can continue straight on the road a little further and reach a point where you can return to Teror through the Barranco and there are signs along the way or you could return the way you came through the barranco to complete the trail through beautiful natural surroundings rather than on asphalt. Very beautiful barranco full of flowers.
