Itinerary description

This is an un-Asturian walk! It never gets steep or difficult, it is marked (very well actually), it is circular and it is a very nice stroll along wooden sculptures and panels with stories and legends. All in Spanish of course.

There is a bit of parking space at the gas station in San Roque del Acebal along the N-634. The walk starts right behind the gas station. However you can start anywhere because it is circular and there are also several options for shortcuts.

As it mostly goes through little forests this walk is also very doable on a warm and sunny day.

The first part is the least attractive, walking close to roads and next to the A8 motorway. The moment you leave the path along the A8 it gets nice. However you will be able to hear it for quite some time. Further on there are a couple more short stretches alongside or close to roads and you'll have to walk a bit through a production forest. This walk saves the best part for last!

No description necessary as the markers are really good. Just a few things:
- At the beginning after crossing the N-634 it looks like the path is crossing another road and goes in the direction of the motorway. But you'll have to stay on the right side of that road.
- In the production forest you cannot cross the farm. There is a wide dirt track a little bit before the farm you'll have to take (I didn't see markers there).
- At the end, ending up at the church of San Roque del Acebal I couldn't find any more markers and I just followed the N-634 back to the gas station.
