Itinerary description
There are a couple of slightly complicated spots - narrow trails close to the edge, and the distance is longer than usual, hence the difficulty.
Couple of waypoints are missing: after passing the abandoned spa, keep on the same road, which later turns into trail and then acequia - an old irrigation channel. Better to follow it walking inside, getting on the wall when necessary. At the end some short scrambling/bushwhacking might be required to get on the road above, although it runs very close.
There is an alternative - instead of walking past the spa, head up the main road and turn left at the first gravel road (where the paved road makes a U-turn), then just follow the gravel road until you get back on track.
Waypoints
Baño del Motor
An open water swimming place, open to public. It used to be the old pump, using the water from the river to irrigate the crop fields, hence the name.
Up stairs
Up the stairs and then left towards picnic tables. Follow the PR-CV signs and then yellow and white trail blazes along the way.
Left (easier option available)
Easier option - stay on the road and turn left on the first gravel road. See the main description.
Peña Maria
Despite being relatively low, the views from the top are very nice! Gestalgar and the Turia rive rdown in the valley, with Sierra Calderona in the background; most part of the trail that makes up this route; Chulilla, far away, with Chelva's pico Remedio behind it. Quite the scene.

I walked half this trail - along the east side of the Turia - and I'd highlight the risk. The path was very narrow at times very close to deadly drops. There were chains to help you in some places but other places needed them. The scenery is spectacular, but because I don't have a great head for heights, I stopped enjoying it. I don't recommend it if you don't like heights. If you do, it would be spectacular.
I'm happy to read about the path on the other side - in future I'll be following that!
