added in quite a bit of loops here. @Cloughy I reckon it may be too long. Please have a look at the route yourself first, then read my comments below AFTER you have formed your own opinion.

I reckon that's about 7hrs
Distance 14.19miles (22km) (5hrs if flat) + 6hrs of elevation change. So actually a really long day. likely too long.
We can cut out some distance near Cabeza la Mesa, and once over the river at Tielve instead of going up to Valfrio, we instead follow yellow road past Callado de Tabos then take that path sortly after to Sotres.
****Actually that road from Tielve to Sotres is NOT a good one to walk on if you look at GoogleStreetView.
*** I dont know where to cut out significant distance from this route. An alternative would be to actually go SOUTH immediately after leaving the refuge and finding another route that way.
