Itinerary description
Best track to go on foot and on your own to Tibidabo summit from Barcelona city center.
The track starts at Vallcarca Metro Station, very close to Park Güell, and it climbs in the shortest –and steepest– way to the summit of Tibidabo, crossing the forests and using trails.
It's less than 4 km, but it's a constant uphill. You will gain more than 400 vertical meters. So it's necessary to be in very good shape.
Bring some water and appropiate shoes and clothes.
When you get upthere, you'll get the best views of the city.
There are other tracks to walk to the same place, less steep but a litle longer. You will find them very soon in that website: http://www.barcelonahiking.com
