Itinerary description
A beautiful area of mangrove and native vegetation bound in swampland adjacent to Bramble Bay. The track follows both BCC upgraded pathways and fire trails. The higher level grassland and forest area is quite thick with large kangaroos.
During rain the area would become quite boggy and so it is recommended to hike only during a dry spell. The track progresses past a bird hide with a nice summary of the birdlife in the area.

Lovely trail. Plenty of mozzies at the second half of the trail, glad I was wearing long sleeves/long pants.
