Itinerary description

I have done the complete Tour de Mont Blanc anti clockwise in ten stages. All ten stages are named “TMB Stage x – From - To” if you are interested in all of them.
Day 1. Charmonix – Bionnassay
Day 2. Bionnassay – Nant Borrand
Day 3. Nant Borrand – Les Chapieux
Day 4. Les Chapieux – La Fodze
Day 5. La Fodze – Courmayeur - Lavachey
Day 6. Lavachey – Ferret
Day 7. Ferret – Val D’Arpette
Day 8. Val D’Arpette – Trient
Day 9. Trient – Le Tour
Day 10. Le Tour – Chamonix

The hike started at Hotel Pointe Isabelle, very Close to the train station of Chamonix. Walk up the pedestrian area and cross river Arve. Walk up to the Planpraz cabler-car station (here you can take the Cable-car up and start right on the TMB trail if you want). We took left along a small street that ends in a footpath leading to Petit Balcon Sud.
You will reach Park Merlet - follow the fence up the mountain, then you will find the TMB trail, decending to Brevent and from there over river Arve again along roads aiming to Les Houches.
Here we took the Bellevue Cable-car up having enough time to go to the Bionnassay Glacier tongue. Walk South to reach the Mont Blanc tramway, cross the track, go down some 50 m, turn left into a hill-side path.
Our overnight Place was in Le Fioux - about 1 klm North from Bionnassy - a lovely refuge Worth to recommend!
