Itinerary description
This is a very nice walk that contains all of the beautiful features of the Spanish landscape of this region.
Wide vistas of the Montgo area and the Mediterranean Sea, walking through olive groves and orange groves, views of the white villages lighting up in the sun, an impressive gorge, a wonderful track out of it, a tunnel that will blind you for a minute only after which you will see the light at the end of it, and a very pleasing last part through the wide, open orange grove landscape, crossing the dry bedding of the Rio Girona a few times.
All in all a very relaxing walk.

Thank you very much for your positieve reaction. Last month we did a hike nearby. Campell, Benimaurell-La Val de Laguar, which is also a beautiful walk

A great walk, rather better than one we did last year, with the extra climb before Presa d’Imbert as we saw about 10 Spanish Ibex on the hillside opposite and spent quite a lot of time watching them watching us!
I am glad that you liked it. There are many more beautiful hikes in this area. We did Campell/Benimaurell- La Val de Laguar earlier this year, also a great walk.
