Itinerary description
Three day hike around the valley.
Taking in 20 pics/summits on the way.
idea was to tour around Pic de Lion and Montious but too much snow on the west flanks ..decided small detour to the lake Bareilles for rest and water stop.
Most of the trail is well marked and good to follow.
The places where little or no path was between
Pic Pene d,Uch and Pic de Douly, but still ok to make your way through.
Caban Camous behind to Mountarrouy and Cap des Penes.
The decent down from Tourroc..steep gravel /trees not marked
First section was from quarry before the climb to Tourroc to the Caban Camouse
spent the night in the cabin..well kept and looked after..wood for fire and beds in attic
water source next to cabin..well recommended.
Second section was cabin Camous to Cap des barres .here camped with tent
Third section was Cap des barres vis detour to Pic Usclat to end of forestry track near Thebe
