Itinerary description
We started our walk from the gîte "les bons enfants" going to the right and following the GR 58 trail. Soon we reached a trail in the forest, one of the most beautiful parts of this tour. Take some time here to admire the beauty of the forest and to take unforgettable pictures. After passing through the forest, we went down to the valley, crossing the river, before starting our ascent to Furfande. The ascent is long but not tough till we reached the "Col de Furfande". From there, we followed the till to "Refuge de Furfande". We didn't plan to stay there but we had our lunch break close to it. From the Refuge, we started to go down with beautiful scenery all around. We reached the hamlet of "Les Escoyères". From there, a steep slippery descent will take you to the D930 road where you cross the bridge over the Guil river. A final ascent through a beautiful woodland will lead you to Bramousse. Continue your way through the small village to reach the beautiful gîte d'étape "Le Riou Vert". A good cold beer was all what we needed after this long day!
