Itinerary description
Doable in 5 backpacking days, this trails goes near all refuges which gives possibility to get a good night of sleep, warm food and a proper shower.
Be careful at Le col du couloir du Porc (suitable name) which requires to do some via ferrata, so if you are afraid of height or bad weather prefer going trough Col de Traversette which offers a way safer passage.
We've done it in August and we had some nasty weather hours with rain and hailstorm. People say it's better in July/September. You can leave your car safely at l'Echalp.
