The initial idea was to leave Dragnag and upon reaching Gokyo go up to GOKYO RI (5537 m) but due to the continuing bad weather conditions with cloudy skies and probability of snow, we decided to simply arrive at Gokyo for the next day before embarking on the Go up now if with good conditions according to the weather reports.
Due to this, the day was going to be short and enjoyable, with the incentive of crossing the longest glacier on Earth, the Ngozumpa Glacier.
After crossing the glacier and a steep ascent behind us, we find the village of Gokyo, located in one of the most spectacular areas of the area...with its immense and impressive lake.
