Trail photos
Second day of the trekking, short but with a strong climb to Namche Bazaar.
After leaving Monjo, we immediately cross through the access to the Sagarmantha National Park, where permits must be shown. After a short descent, we can see for the first time the best-known Tibetan bridge in the area, the Hilary Bridge, in honor of Edmund Hilary.
Just before the bridge, the climb to Namche begins, approximately 3 km.
Namche Bazar is the most important town in the area, the gateway to the Himalayas and an ideal place to find a good acclimatization, which we will do, spending the next two nights here.
