Today the idea was to go up to Kala Pattar but as it was completely covered on the day we ruled it out due to poor visibility. So we started the way back to Lobuche, where we slept two nights ago.
By suppressing the climb to Kala Pattar, the route was shortened enough, so in Lobuche we made a fairly large stop for breakfast.
When we resume the march we take the direction of Memorial, deviating 1 km before and going sideways with the Cholatse Peak always to the right until the small village of Dzonglha. The route is very difficult for us, although the completely snowy road complicates progress.
Tomorrow a hard day awaits us: the Cho La pass at 5,420 m, and the crossing of the Ngozumpa Glacier (the longest in the Himalayas) to reach our final goal Gokyo
