Itinerary description
Attempt to follow the blue slope going up from Tufandag Hotel to the top 1920m cable car arrival... BUT WE WERE STOPPED by the security guatds of the hotel. And then opted for the way up from Durja.
Starting from Tufandag hotel, we could reach the arrival of the first cable car (1660 m) = slope P8 and W1. Very gentle and wide way up. Then the security guard at the cable car impeeded us to continue and strongly insisted that we should go down. No reason nor explanation given (there seemed to be no risks at all along the way and mountains should be accessible by anyone...), moreover we were even guests at the Tufandag hotel...
Side note: cable car was closed and not usable by tourists though it was partially working (some cabins were attached and moving...empty) - this was on the 7 Nov. 🤷♀️
So we went back down to Durja and followed a path there (possibly to the waterfall and/or connecting with Laza). Check "hike to unidentified mountain" by ajkeizer.
Very nice trail up, developping into the forest. After some hundred metres passing the village we lost a bit track but then we found the way.
We couldn't continue to explore further due to time.
(Way back of around 2.7k - same way)
