Itinerary description
The trail starts in the south of Ubrique, on a bridge over the Garganta de Barrida. There is a large map explaining the route and the nature.
After 5 km you will reach the Restaurant Mojón de la Víbora.
A good place to have something to eat and above all to replenish the water supplies. I did not see any way to pick up water on the hike to Jimena.
At kilometer 11, when the trail leaves the road and goes south, I took a short turn in the wrong direction and then walked on a cow trail through the forest back to the trail. Here it is easier to follow the big path south.
