Itinerary description

This circular route takes you for almost the entire path through shady forest and along nice small walking tracks. Up along the nice Ansis valley and down through the magnificent and imposing narrow gorges Les colombets (most impressive part is flat walking through very narrow path with high walls on both sides (easy and no problem for people who are claustrophobic because it is open enough)).

The route is long but never too steep gradual walk up the mountain. It is never along ridges. So perfectly fine for people who are afraid of heights.

You can park you car at the start.

Turn left into woods, not big rood

Just a bit farther on the road after first sign on the road another sign.

Turn directly right after leaving the road. Do not continue small path.

Confusing signpost

Officially the route goes left here into the woods. You have to go to the right after you have left the road for 20 meters!!!! 100 meters further you get back on the big road. So to make it easy: Continue straight on road instead of going into the woods. After 200 meters around the corner you will find the next sign pointing you to the right.
