Itinerary description
Upper Amud River starting near Zefat. One of the best trails in north Galili, 4H walk for good capable trailers.

First half of the hike is easy and partly shaded. Second half is exposed and not suitable for kids. Can exit the trail around the halfway point and climb toward Safed. There is a small pool that functions as a "mikve" there and an olive grove suitable for camping.
