Itinerary description
A fine 2-3 hour hike from the Upsete station (Bergen-Myrdal railway line) to the Kaldavasshytte cabin from the Norwegian Trekking Association. Head from the station to the Upsete Fjellstove and take the path that climbs gradually out of the valley towards Geitnavatnet (1 hr) and then into the valley towards Kaldavatnet (marked with red T's). Steep snowfields may require you to chose a different route in the Spring, possibly requiring some scrambling. The return route follows the same path.
