Itinerary description
Park at the beginning of the trail and enjoy the 7k hike to the top with some spectacular views of the sea and Deia so far below your position. The climb is steep in some areas and exhilarating as your transit the ridge up to the top of Puig des Teix. And the views are spectacular. We took our time and a couple of breaks along the way but generally kept moving.
The return down to Valldemosa is primarily along a steep road that goes down the mountain. Its both quicker and not as spectacular as the trek up but pleasant as it winds through the woods.The reward is the charming pastry shop with a lovely outdoor terrace where this trail ends. Then after a deserved hot chocolate or beer a short walk back to your car.
