Itinerary description
A short walk from Valle de Arriba that climbs up to Los Partidos casa rural and into the pine forest. The route then follows a mostly level forest track with excellent views into the Santiago Valley before descending, partly on tarmac and partly on footpaths from the Calvario de Los Baldios. I did this walk in heavy rain so the photos are not very clear.

What a cracking trail. Just completed it (2nd March 2023) in glorious weather. Well worth the first half effort, the views were everything I’ve cone to expect from this part of the world. We were lucky to catch the almond blossom perfectly and its heady scent was all around. We stopped for lunch in an almond grove and the scent plus the hum of bees and birdsong, were the only things assaulting our senses (aside from the lunch my infinitely better half had made). Outstanding, 10/10 chapeau sir. 👏👏👏
