Itinerary description
This hike covers part of the Camí Romeu to Montserrat on the GR 96 trail through Collserola.
The hike starts at Vallvidrera Superior station. Outside the Vallvidrea Superior station there are some pretty Modernista houses with views of Montserrat to the rear. After a brief walk through the town the trail into Collserola begins.
After a short distance we reach the Vallvidrera reservoir and from there we get on the GR 96 trail. The GR 96 trail is marked with red and white at intersections and offers views of Montserrat along the way.

Wonderful trail! At the beginning of the GR 96 the path was a bit overgrown with plants, but once I fount it it was quite easy to follow.

A great walk in the woods through rolling hills. Easy to get to from Barcelona and a great little bar on the plaza at La Floresta.
