Itinerary description
This is one of the best routes to explain some of the chapters of the Spanish Civil War, specially the battle of La Granja for the conquer by the Republicans of Segovia in Franco's hands. We pass by Peñón de las Palomas, Alto de la Fuente del Pájaro, fuente de los pastores and the roman road to Segovia.
But is not only the history, also the scenery is amazing. Cerro Matabueyes and one gap of the Camino from Madrid to Santiago are also some scenarios.
