Variation of Mirador de Cerro Alaminos

This walk starts by the recreational area near El Nacimiento and sports stadium in Coin.

It starts by taking a path through Matagallar and then going onto a wide path through the woods.

Eventually you take a lovely hidden path through more woods making your way up to the Mirador Cerro Alaminos.
Here you have some lovely views, on your left Alhaurin el Grande and the Sierra de Mijas. In front of you Barranco Blanco and the coast in the distance, and to the right the Sierra de Alpujata.
I added a lovely detour to the fire lookout post, which well worth the extra climb as the views are more spectacular from this vantage point.

Returning back you arrive to a road junction where you take the stony path on your right and then follow the path on your left, back to your starting point, making the walk into a figure of 8.
