Itinerary description
The day starts with an easy walk up and over the Sierra de los Olivos and then down into the pretty town of Los Santos de Maimona. From there it’s miles and miles through olive groves and vineyards before reaching Villafranca de Los Barros.

How has the accommodation been? Are you one of only a few on the trail?
Usually only 5-8 people in each Albergue per night.
Perfect!!! No worries about accommodations this time of year. Have many done the other trail from France as well?
Almost everybody has done multiple Caminos. I’ve only met one guy where this is his first.
This one has a lot less infrastructure for Pilgrims. The Frances is like a travelling festival compared to the Vdlp!
