Itinerary description

Hike starts on opposite side of the road & along a little bit from Restaurante La Muga. Its an incredibly steep up hill climb of approx 300m but once reach the top you have amazing views across the flat plain & of the Sierra Nevada Mountains & you’ve got the biggest ascent done & out of the way. From there the path descends down into a lovely valley. If you hike when the Almond trees are in blossom (February) you will be rewarded with the beautiful sight of the hillsides being covered in a white/pink hue. The Valley descends further leading you into a barranco which you follow for a while & then need to climb up & out of (small amount of scrambling) from there you follow a delightful path which twists & winds it’s way around, finally you take a short descent back down to the road to the start of the hike.
