Verea de los Rebosadores, Ardales
This pleasant short walk starts from the off road parking area near the Guadalteba reservoir.
The start of the walk is adjacent to the parking, where you head into the woods. Eventually you pick up the Sendero de los Embalses. Turn left and carry on to the end of the sendero where there is a bench under the shade of several fig trees, overlooking the river Guadalhorce.
This is a great spot for a break or a picnic.
Afterwards head back towards the intersection and take the path going uphill slightly to your right then left. This will eventually bring you up to the main Northern access road for a short distance, but there is plenty of kerbs.
Then take the path on your right (part of the GR 340) which will eventually bring you back to the parking area.
This is a hidden little gem worth doing if you want a short and peaceful walk, with no worries about parking or crowds.
