Done in 2 parts: after Via Dinarica to Bolzano in 2019 and the rest in 2021.
The route focused on the Italian side (language, food, cost of living, climate ...) and with some unmissable places: the Dolomites, Zermatt and Courmayeur (for the views of the Matterhorn and Mont-Blanc).
It is a mountain and sometimes high mountain route. There are snowfields that remain late in the season. Crossing the glacier between Zermatt and Breuil Cervinia requires crampons and ice ax. There are difficult parts (steep, scree, via ferrata). Finally, bad weather conditions can make some parts difficult or even impossible.
The track was reconstructed on my return. In all cases, the reality on the ground should be privileged. In case of passage on private land, make sure the owner's authorization.
