Itinerary description
Very good breakfast at 7.30am (even though a ´to go´pack can be prepared the night before, see previous track).
TRACK
Exit hotel to the right, turn on 1st right into Rua Aveiro and keep going until Largo 9 Abril.Turn into this Largo and take the 1st on your left, to Rua S. Tiago (a little arrow or shell is shown). Continue straight down until you come up to the beginning of a big garden on your left and Colégio do Minho on your right hand corner. Turn right to continue into Rua S.Tiago and 20m later go into tunnel, which is on your right. When coming out of tunnel, continue down (towards shopping centre) and turn on the 1st left (Rua Portela de Cima). Continue following Camino arrows from then onward.
Nothing much as far as cafés,etc. Only one coffee place, around 8km, but closed for holidays between 3-16/9. Stopped to have a snack.
Really nice track with lots of cobblestone, gravel and uneven terrain.
For emergency or taxi, N13 runs parallel most of times.
Arrived around 12.15 for lunch at restaurant on the ramp after crossing railway line, nice seafood entrees, fish and prawn/squid skewers.
There is also cafe/bar further down on the right hand corner with sandwiches, hamburgers, etc.
ACCOMMODATION
Hotel Meira is a nice hotel with outdoor pool. Had a very good 7.30pm dinner (buffet) with lots of seafood, etc. and generous wine and water. Very good service also. Room this time was excellent with walk in bathtub, separate toilet and lounge room.
